Preferences

General

• CHARACTERS: Looking for canonmates from any Star Trek, including other versions of Spock. Give me the crossover episodes. Any cross-canon characters from other sci-fi series. Illogical humans to deal with. Other aliens to be puzzled by humans with. Really anyone who seems like they'll be a fun dynamic regardless of genre, canon, or medium.
• STORYLINES: I prefer slow-burn for shipping and threads with lots of plot for PSLs. Fine to play smut if it fits in the thread. I play faster and looser with memes, particularly depending on what the meme is. Shenanigans, space hijinks, plotty adventures, the rule of funny is law. Also into the darker end of the spectrum with terrible things happening.
• SETTING: Canon, canon-divergent, full AUs are all great! I prefer something that allows Spock to be alien in nature; other sci-fi, cyberpunk, urban fantasy, etc. are some of my favorites. Right now I'm on a big Mirrorverse (evil Vulcan empire flavor) and Section 31 (marginally less evil secret intelligence division) kick. I will bury you in plot ideas if you let me.

Shipping

• CANON: Kirk, McCoy ✔ My main canon ships. Includes alternate universe shenanigans (looks pointedly at Mirrorverse).
• CROSS-CANON: Challenges ✔ Will generally require some CR build up first (unless we've discussed a scenario beforehand, have established CR, or I've put him on a meme designed to avoid that). I love Spock dealing with people who challenge him in different ways, from someone who wants to argue logic and morals or get him to loosen up, to unsavory characters with a personality clash.
• IN GENERAL: M/M and M/F are both welcome. I love shipping and I'm pretty easy to convince into a new ship. Feel free to reach out with anything you'd like to try and we can see if it works!
• AVOID: ✘ Not interested in cheating/infidelity scenarios. Anything involving non-con requires discussion first.

OOC Permissions

• BACKTAGGING: A-okay. Work or migraines may make me disappear periodically so I'm always up to backtag for PSLs and memes. I tend to drop text threads if they've reached a good place to end or it's been several weeks but feel free to poke me if there's one you'd particularly like to continue.
• THREADHOPPING: Sure, just PM me with a heads up first if we're unfamiliar.
• FOURTHWALLING: I don't mind but it's not something I'm particularly interested in playing with.
• OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Please PM me for anything on the more extreme side of the spectrum if we're unfamiliar. I'm fine with most topics but I prefer to discuss first before playing them out.
• TIMEZONE: EST. Most tagging happens in the evening but I may also sporadically tag during the day.
• RP STYLE: Brackets preferred, but I can do prose.

IC Permissions

• PHYSICAL CONTACT: No, unless you're already close to him. He's a touch-telepath so he avoids contact in general and particularly skin-to-skin contact whenever possible.
• ROMANCE: [ nature documentary voice ] Vulcans pairbond for life. He's not opposed, but anything serious will require a lot of CR build up first.
• FIGHTING: When necessary to protect others. Spock is a member of a pacifist species who almost beat a guy to death with his bare hands that one time. He usually will either refuse to engage or end it quickly but he can be provoked to knock-down, drag-out with the right motivation.
• INJURIES OR DEATH: Injuries are fine, death situational. Hurt/comfort, caretaking, and heavy emotional situations for the guy who pretends he doesn't have emotions are some of my favorites. Please discuss anything permanent beforehand.
• MIND READING: As a touch-telepath, he's got significant shielding and is likely to notice anyone trying to poke around in his head. OOCly, I'm all for seeing what comes of it; ICly, Spock has an extremely strict moral code about violating the minds of others and won't take kindly to the attempt.
